2012 CONFERENCES

 

In 2012 there were two ICAF Conferences, one in Spain, one in Hungary.

Daroca is a historic city south of Zaragoza, and the conference was held in the sala de Actos of the Fundación Campo de Daroca.  Over 30 papers were given in Spanish and English (a link to the programme and abstracts to follow later).  There were tapas each evening in the Sala de la Fundación Campo de Daroca; visits, meal and hospitality at the Bodega Vinae Mureri, a guided tour of the city and a visit and lunch at the VIth  Muestra Gastronómica de la Pasta y el Dulce. 

 

  

                    

 

 

35th International ICAF Conference,

Birds as Food: cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary aspects

13th – 15th July, 2012, Sopron, Hungary.

This conference was held in the delightful old town of Sopron, Hungary, close to the Austrian border and at the University of West Hungary in Mosonmagyaróvár.  The official languages were English and Spanish, and 27 papers were given by contributors from the Americas, Europe and Australasia (a link to the Programme and Abstracts will follow later).
